We had a fantastic evening at the GLOW Festifall event. We are always blessed to see so many families from the community each year as we provide a safe alternative to Halloween. I was blessed to see a young man who used to call BCC home 9 years ago. He was a teenager when I last saw him, and he plans to come to church on Sunday. You never know who the Lord will bring through the doors any given night. All we have to do is let Him work. I want to personally thank Linda Birsner and all of her volunteers for making it a positive experience for everyone.
I have heard many positive reviews about the new Christian movie “War Room” Prayer Is a Powerful Weapon. Looking at the reviews this is definitely a must see fr the entire family. If you would like to join me please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Show time is 7:15 PM. This is the last Wednesday of summer for us at BCC before we kick off Fall activities. Let’s pack the theatre!
The Explicit Gospel – provides six weeks of Bible study content, learning activities, and group experiences. In an explanation that embraces the whole of Scripture, Matt Chandler defines what the gospel is — and what it is not. Written with Chandler’s weighty and yet immediately understandable style, this Bible study includes the specifics of the gospel as well as its fullness, clearly outlining its massive implications on both personal and cosmic levels.
Study begins Wednesday, September 16 and is led by Mike Hays. If you would like to sign up please email email@example.com
Horizontal Jesus Bible Study Book includes a small-group experience for six sessions, individual study opportunities during the week, applicable Scripture.
Loving God is vertical love. Loving others is horizontal love. Jesus showed His disciples how these two loves are intertwined in practical ways. While our relationship with God is based on faith alone, He warns and encourages us to see that the way we treat people affects our experience of Him. In this six-session study, you’ll learn how to apply biblical principles drawn from several one-another passages in Scripture. In doing so, you’ll reap blessings in your vertical relationship with God.
Study begins Wednesday, September 9 and is led by Herman Stevenson. If you would like to sign up email firstname.lastname@example.org

Grace is the church’s great distinctive. It’s the one thing the world cannot duplicate, and the one thing it craves above all else–for only grace can bring hope and transformation to a jaded world. “Grace does not excuse sin,” says Yancey, “but it treasures the sinner. True grace is shocking, scandalous. IT shakes our conventions with its insistence on getting close to sinners and touching them with mercy and hope.
