Redemption at KAA

Fifty-nine students and fourteen adults from BCC had the wonderful privilege of experiencing God in the rolling hills of Missouri this summer. God revealed his redemptive nature through the servant leadership at KAA, through powerful Gospel presentations and through changed lives! Seven kids gave their life to the Lord for the very first time! Another twenty-one students recommitted their lives to God and countless others continued their pursuit towards maturity in Christ. In fact, we now have multiple students who are prepared to share the Gospel and their lives with their peers!

God is at work at BCC and I’m so thrilled to be part of a church that cares so much about the Great Commission. Thank you for all your support! I pray you will continue to reach out to our young people as they return home to shine God’s light.

“Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, because he has come and has redeemed his people.”

Awana Sunday!
Sunday, May 18 at 10:40 am

It has been an amazingly wonderful, beyond-our-wildest-expectations kind of year for all of the kids and adults in Awana! Our kids have been hiding God’s Word in their hearts and the adults who have been working with them have made such an impact on each and every child.

This coming Sunday, May 18, in the 10:40 am worship service we will get to hear from those who participated in our “Celebrate Awana! Sunday.” The kids will sing, recite some of the Scriptures they’ve memorized, and adults will give their testimonies of how God has used His Word and the kids to leave His mark on their lives. I will also share a lesson on the importance of teaching God’s Word to our children. It’s going to be an awesome Sunday.

I want to encourage you to bring all of your friends who have children that are not involved in Awana. We will have an information table following the worship service for them to find out how they can get involved when Awana starts back in September.
